Accessories
To simplify the design effort for OEMs, ExDirect provides accessories for its enclosures that include plastic display housings, base housings, and rail caps with 3D CAD files available. These accessories make it easy to incorporate a display or electronics PCB into an ExDirect enclosure. All parts fit in both aluminum and stainless steel enclosures and plastic where appropriate. The aluminum or stainless steel nameplates fit on the enclosure’s nameplate galleries. Nameplates formers are used to shape the nameplates to fit the curvature of the enclosure. Conduit plugs, adapters, and reducers are also available.
Display Housings
The display housings are designed to accommodate a display PCB and an additional PCB on select models while providing secure, easy mounting to an ExDirect enclosure’s built-in rails
Base Housings
Designed to accommodate components such as batteries, relays, etc. on the base of EN500, EX500, and EX550 enclosures.
Rail Caps
The rails caps make it easy to attach and remove an electronics PCB to an ExDirect enclosure without additional hardware.
Nameplates
Nameplates come in aluminum or stainless steel and are designed to be installed on the nameplate galleries of enclosures. Engraving available.
Formers
Nameplate formers bend and form metal nameplates to fit the curvature of the enclosure so they can be installed on the enclosure’s nameplate galleries.
Conduit Plugs
Stainless steel conduit plugs with approvals are available in 1/2", 3/4", and M20 sizes.
Conduit Adapters
Adapters with approvals for 1/2" NPT to 3/4" NPT or M20 conduits are available.
Conduit Reducers
Reducers with approvals for 3/4" NPT to 1/2" NPT or M20 conduits are available.
Hardware
Screws are available for various types of accessory installations or assemblies. These are sold in bags of 500, 1,000, and 5,000.
